About TON for Ethereum developers
This page of the official docs is written for developers who already know Ethereum. Its central idea is the asynchronous execution model: messages between contracts take time to arrive, so one action that is a single atomic transaction on an EVM chain becomes a chain of transactions, called a trace, on TON.
The docs illustrate it with a liquidity withdrawal on a DEX, which on TON consists of more than ten separate transactions. Reading it first saves a lot of confusion when you open an explorer for the first time.
